Résumé
A team’s résumé asks how much it has accomplished against the schedule it faced. Strength of record and schedule ranks reward difficult paths; wins versus expected compares actual wins with a performance-based estimate.
What do these numbers mean?
Wins and losses in the current season. This is the actual record, not a model estimate.
Strength of Record: how hard it would be for a typical strong team to achieve this team's record against its schedule. Lower rank is better.
Strength of Schedule: how difficult the opponents already played have been. Lower rank indicates a tougher schedule.
Remaining Strength of Schedule: difficulty of opponents still to play. Lower rank indicates tougher games ahead.
A résumé ranking based on how consistently a team controlled its games, rather than only the final result. Lower rank is better.
SP+'s estimate of how many wins a team's on-field performance would typically produce. This can differ from its actual win total.
Actual wins minus second-order wins. Positive means more wins than that performance estimate; it does not by itself prove a team was lucky.
